Week 2| This Week we will Focus on the Redemptive Power of the Blood of Jesus in various areas and arenas in our communities and in our cities. Let’s ask Father for forgiveness for the misuse of power of our city leaders and the destruction of our cities because of unlawful activity. Let’s call on the redemptive Power of the Blood of Jesus to Restore the welfare and peace in every area of our cities and communities.

Prayer Focus:   Redemption in our Communities, our Cities – Pray for the Welfare/Wealth of our Cities

Today we pray for the Redemptive Power of the Blood of Jesus over our Cities. We must pray for the welfare of the city and declare an end to businesses leaving our cities, and pray that Jehovah Jireh restores prosperity and welfare to the cities.  We need leaders with wisdom, discernment, and a heart for justice. We need God to grant our leaders humility to lead with integrity, to make decisions that benefit all residents. Our Father has given us the power as intercessors to change things in our cities. Through OUR GOD we can do valiantly!

2 Chronicles 7:14 -“My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Jeremiah 29:7 -“But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.”

1 Timothy 2:1-4 -“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and –pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth'‘.

Psalm 29:11 -“The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.” 

Micah 6:8 -“No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what He requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”

Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus we pray for healing in our city and our community. We pray for healing, and we pray against all injustices because of race, gender, socio-economic status, political position, and religion. We bind the spirit of dishonesty and disunity in our city leaders; we loose truth and unity to prevail in the walls.  Father restore order to our cities we pray.  Bring healing and prosperity back to our cities, to the businesses in our cities we pray. Father, we pray for the welfare of our cities; strengthen the well-being of our cities.  Send Your Redemptive Power to restore and make our cities prosperous again. Send Your Redemptive Power to restore honest leaders who have both the ability and heart to lead fairly and justly by Your Spirit. We pray for wisdom for our leaders as they strive to achieve peace and order. Father You said, seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace. Father Restore our cities. Let your presence be a shield of safety and comfort for us all we pray in the name of Jesus.

Prayer Focus:  Redemption in the  Legal System/Law Enforcement – Contra Costa & Alameda Counties

Today we pray for the Redemptive Power of the Blood of Jesus to Restore the Legal systems in our Cities. We cannot sit around idly talking about the lawlessness when God has given us the power to Bind and Loose in the earth. Let’s take back Our cities. Let’s ensure that the proper people are placed in the positions of authority in our Legal Systems.

Amos 5:24 -“But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!” 

Psalm 91:1 -“For He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”

Proverbs 21:15 -“When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.”

John 1:16 (ESV) “For from His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.”

Matthew 18:18 -“Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

Prayer

Father, we pray for the Redemptive power of the Blood of Jesus in our cities, in our Law Enforcement Agencies and Departments. We ask for forgiveness for sitting idly as the enemy wreaked havoc in our cities. Father we pray from Your Court of heaven seeking You, our Chief magistrate, to Seal the Order of Judgement against the spirits of darkness in our cities. Father, we declare and decree Your Word! We bind up spirits of violence, disobedience, and disorder. We loose the spirit of peace, obedience, and order. The power of murder and lawlessness is bound in Jesus’ name. We loose life and lawfulness.  Father, we declare a cease and desist order against every spirit and power of darkness in Jesus’ name. We pray to You, the Lord of Angel Armies, to send Your angels to war against the principalities over our Cities, until peace reigns again. Father, apprehend all offenders and bring Justice; bring now Salvation we pray! Father, we pray for REDEMPTION in our Police Departments, in our District Attorney’s Office, in the Public Defender’s Office, and in our Alternate Defender’s Office…In every Law enforcement agency/department in our cities in Jesus’ name. We declare Justice Reigns in every legal entity in our Cities!

Prayer Focus: Redemption in Education/School Systems

Today we pray for the Redemptive Power of the Blood of Jesus in our Educational Systems. Our educational systems need much prayer. We need God back in our schools. We need prayer back in our schools and godly principles in our curriculum. Today we will pray to Our Lord of Wisdom to empower our city school leaders, administrators, and educators. Our Father can make all grace abound in the educational system so that our children excel. Let’s ask God to guide our educators and that He imparts His knowledge, nurturing character, and Love in the hearts of our children.

Proverbs 22:6 -“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

2 Timothy 2:15 -Make an effort to present yourself to God as a tried-and-true worker, who doesn’t need to be ashamed but is one who interprets the message of truth correctly.

John 17:17 -Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.

Proverbs 18 :10 -“The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”

Prayer

Father, we humbly ask for the Redemptive Power of the Blood of Jesus over our schools and educational systems. Father, we ask for forgiveness for allowing prayer to be taken out of our schools. We ask for forgiveness for allowing a system of compromise and pollution to infiltrate our school curriculum to teach and oppose that which You have declared as sin. Father restore the TRUTH back in our schools we pray.  Protect the hearts and minds of our children. Strengthen our educational systems as we align with Your Kingdom agenda we pray. Father send Your angels to protect the school grounds, our children, our teachers, our staff and administrators; keeping them safe from harm’s way. Give the teacher’s Your wisdom to teach and prepare the children. We declare the children will be Godly future leaders, innovators, and caretakers of our communities who operate with integrity without compromising Your Word. Inspire the teachers to operate with wisdom and patience as they impart knowledge and shape young minds. Father, provide equal access to quality education for all children, regardless of their background or circumstances. May learning be a transformative and empowering force within our cities, laying the foundation for Kingdom advancement in the earth through the mountain of education in our cities in Jesus’ name.

Prayer Focus: Redemption in the Arts and Entertainment Industry

This is an arena that is heavily influenced by evil. Some of the main ties are pride, fame, and of course money. However, God has called us as Kingdom Ambassadors to have dominion in every area. The heart of our Father is that He desires none to perish but all to repent and come to a knowledge of Him. This includes what society calls celebrities, movie stars, the music industry, sports stars, etc. While we may not personally know any in this industry, we can certainly influence the industry through the unstoppable power of prayer.  Since there is no distance in the Spirit, let's release our prayers for those in the arts and entertainment industry to come to a knowledge of Christ and have hearts open to the gospel. God wants to infiltrate this mountain for the Kingdom.

James 5:16b -The earnest (heartfelt continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].

2 Peter 3:9 -The Lord isn’t slow about keeping His promises, as some people think He is. In fact, God is patient, because He wants everyone to turn from sin and no one to be lost.

2 Corinthians 4:4 -the god of this world [satan] has blinded the minds of the unbelieving to prevent them from seeing the illuminating light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Matthew 5:6 (NIV) “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”

Prayer

Father, we lift up those in the arts and entertainment and sports industry. We pray for your love and salvation to reach through the fog the enemy has placed over the eyes of their hearts and save them. We pray for Godly celebrities to not only influence the movies, the music industry etc. but also  we pray that those that know You will witness to their constituents.  We pray for the gospel to go forth unhindered by any demonic interruption and that You would move in this industry and save souls. Turn those from dependence on drugs, alcohol, mammon, and other vices to depending on You. Move the blinders from their eyes so they can see the Lord of Glory. Awaken Your children in this industry take dominion in this mountain as other Your children pray for You to move in great and mighty ways that we know not. We expect to see YOU move in Jesus' name. Thank you, Lord.

Prayer Focus: Redemption in Government

Only God can save and redeem the government from the struggle of man for power, from pride, and deliver them from the spirit of mammon. It is not about one side or the other. Man fights for power and the people are caught in the middle. We are to pray to invite God’s kingdom into their hearts so God will direct their hearts just as water is directed into irrigation to water our gardens etc. We desire God to water their hearts so that our leaders lead in righteousness and we can live in peace.

Proverbs 16:12  -Kings and leaders despise wrongdoing, for the true authority to rule and reign is built on a foundation of righteousness.

1 Timothy 2:1-4 -Most of all, I’m writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God. Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion. And pray for every political leader and representative, so that we would be able to live tranquil, undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts. It is pleasing to our Savior-God to pray for them. He longs for everyone to embrace His life and return to the full knowledge of the truth.

Proverbs 25:5 -And if you purge corruption from the kingdom, a king’s reign will be established in righteousness.

2 Kings 19:15-16a -And Hezekiah prayed this prayer before the Lord: “O LORD, God of Israel, You are enthroned between the mighty cherubim! You alone are God of all the kingdoms of the earth. You alone created the heavens and the earth. Bend down, O LORD, and listen! Open Your eyes, O Lord and see!

Prayer

Father, You told us to intercede and pray for those in authority so that we Your people could live a quiet and peaceful life. We lift up to You those in authority, from the current president and his cabinet to the incoming president and his cabinet. We lift up our mayors, governors, the supreme court, judges, police chiefs, and all those in government before You Lord. We ask You to deliver our leaders. Keep them from wickedness. Deliver them from wicked and evil men. Lead our leaders to humble themselves and lead the nation and their sphere of influence in humility and repentance. Save those that do not know You as Savior and Lord. Send laborers into their vineyard to influence them for righteousness. Let our leaders defend the poor, and rescue the children. May they fear the LORD as long as the sun shines. Teach and help our leaders, as King Hezekiah did to bring the nation’s needs before You to receive Your wisdom, directions, strategies, and guidance. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer Focus: Redemption in Families

God is for the family. In the beginning there was only God. In Him was family (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). He created us in His image and likeness, but sin damaged the original design. Jesus restored the original design. Today we pray for God’s redemptive power to permeate families and restore families from the sin, rebellion, perversion, anger, strife etc. that the enemy has sown and bring families BACK to His holiness, peace, unity, and righteousness.

Proverbs 22:6 -Dedicate your children to God and point them in the way that they should go, and the values they’ve learned from you will be with them for life.

Isaiah 53:5 -He was wounded and crushed because of our sins; by taking our punishment, He made us completely well.

Isaiah 55:7 -Give up your evil ways and your evil thoughts. Return to the LORD our God. He will be merciful and forgive your sins.

Zechariah 9:12 -Return to the stronghold [of security and prosperity], you prisoners of hope; even today do I declare that I will restore double your former prosperity to You.

Prayer

Father, forgive us for our rebellion. Forgive us for wanting to go our own way and not recognizing that all we have comes from You. Forgive us for putting stuff, education, money, and our lives above loving and serving You. We invite you into our families. Heal and deliver our families and the families in our communities. You’ve paid the price for all family’s redemption, but eyes are still blinded by the enemy. We pray not only for our family but those in our neighborhoods and communities to choose YOU. Let them return to the ancient path of righteousness. Draw families to dedicate their children to You and choose to teach them Your ways. Let parents represent Christ in an attractive way so that children want YOU in their lives as they grow older. Have mercy on families Father. Help families to return back to you. RESTORE the families in our communities back to their former glory as they seek and choose Christ, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer Focus:  Redemption in our Country. Pray that the CHURCH takes its rightful place of authority in America

As sons and daughters of the King, we are to rule and reign and bring God’s Kingdom to earth as it is established in heaven. In order for this to happen, the church must take its rightful place and begin to take dominion. God is calling the Church to His spiritual awakening urging believers to rise from a state of spiritual apathy and be illuminated by Christ.

Psalms 2:8 -Ask Me to give you the nations and I will do it, and they shall become your legacy. Your domain will stretch to the ends of the earth. And you will shepherd them with unlimited authority, crushing their rebellion as an iron rod smashes jars of clay (with the power of spiritual truth).

Ephesians 5:1 -Be imitators of God in everything you do, for then you will represent your Father as His beloved sons and daughters.

Isaiah 60:1 -ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you–rise to a new life!] Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

Prayer

Father, we pray for the Church to rise in Purity, Prayer, and Power! Lord, help the Church to operate with  inner purity in thought, word, and actions as followers of Christ. Let the Church exalt righteousness in practical ways so as to win the lost. Deliver the Church from the spirit of religion and raise up the TRUE CHURCH of Jesus the Christ. Let an urgency arise in every heart to hear the voice of God and receive our divine instructions to build the Kingdom on earth. We ask for the salvation of the Nations’ Lord. We are Your change agents on the earth. You have equipped the Church with Your word and Your authority, and we will use them to proclaim Your kingdom. We declare the Church will not shirk her responsibilities to be an ambassador of Your light and hope. Father, help the Church to walk in the dominion we have been given through Christ and allow You to showcase Your love and power through the Church to the world. Start with me, Father, in Jesus’ name, amen.
